Applicants have completed Mathayom 4 in Thai curriculum or Grade 10 in the US curriculum or Year 11 in the British curriculum, or passed the high school equivalent standard test (GED, IGCSE, Diploma, BTEC).

PORTFOLIO:

All applicants applying for design programs (except Fashion Marketing and Management) are required to present their portfolio on Admission Day.
Applicant’s portfolio shall consist of personal works of art and design including but not limited to sketching, drawing, crafting, or inventing in any types of format. There is no limit to number, size of paper, thickness, and format of works. If applicant’s portfolio are in digital format. Applicants are advised to bring their own laptop, notebook, or tablet for their own presentation.

PREPARATION FOR ADMISSION  test takers

For test takers of Fashion Design (FD), Interior Design (ID), Product Design (PD), Graphic Design (GD), Multimedia Design (MD):

  • Please bring your own stationery including paper, color (any types), drawing pad and etc. Considering yourselves as you are coming to get a Raffles Scholarship, what should you prepare/bring to present the best of you and produce your works to convince Raffles Scholarships Committee.
  • Arrival at least 30 minutes before the start of admission test.

 

For test takers of Fashion Marketing and Management (FMM), Entrepreneur and Small Business Operation (ESBO), Marketing (MKT), and Tourism and Hospitality Management (THM):

Test takers will be required to do a short presentation of a given topic.

  • Only A3 paper will be provided.
  • Test takers must bring their own stationery including pen, pencil, color markers and etc. for their own presentation.
  • If test takers prefer to present by using MS PowerPoint, he/she will be requested to bring their own notebook or tablet for their presentation.
  • Arrival at least 30 minutes before the start of admission test.

Terms and Conditions

  • All Scholarship applicants will be selected by the Raffles Scholarships Committee and the decision of the committee is final. No correspondences will be entertained.
  • Successful Scholarship applicants will not be entitled for any other grants, rebates or scholarships from Raffles International College (RIC), Bangkok.
  • Successful Scholarship applicants are required to pay for an application fee of 5000THB.
  • Scholars shall represent RIC as Ambassador in attending marketing activities whenever necessary.
  • Scholars shall participate in design contests locally and internationally every intake. The works/projects must be under supervision of Program Directors of their programs.
  • Scholarships only cover the total tuition fee. It does not cover the following: application non-tuition fees, medical insurance, re-module fees; trip expenses (if applicable) and other miscellaneous fees or expenses.
  • Scholars must maintain 90% attendance and pass the examination with minimum of 70% and above.
  • Scholars are allowed a maximum to sit for 2 times of examination. Re-module and examination is payable by scholars if necessary.
  • Scholarship will be terminated should scholars unable to meet the minimum requirement in academically or due to personal misconduct.
